Obsidian Sea Dreams. Illusions. Obsessions CD finding inspiration in Doom NEW | eBay
Despite being only 20 x 10 km at its widest points 6 x 12 miles for my UK chums , the variety in soil depth and composition, and the variation in exposure to sunlight, the wind and the rain, make for an extraordinary variety in the wine produced. I will enjoy writing about such variation. I have cheated with my first wine review. The wine left such an impression on me that upon returning to the UK I emailed the vineyard to find out where I could buy it at home. The fact that the owner himself, Lindsay Spilman, responded to my query, said it all, but sadly the response was not encouraging.
Obsidian was not exported to the UK and that remains the case today. The fact that I was able to obtain some is a story in itself, and even now I order Obsidian en primeur and then worry about how I am going to get it back to the UK later. The was very ready to drink. Much longer in the bottle would not have done it justice. After 9 years maturing it had acquired an almost dessert wine characteristic, tawny and dense in colour, smooth to the palate, well-rounded with no edges, full of body and fruit, the taste of blackcurrant prevalent. Almost sticky, and with a heady aroma.
You will not be disappointed. Some may consider their wine pricey, but personally I consider them excellent value for money. Just hope I can find some larger glasses when we get to Waiheke.
Delighted to read of your selection of Obsidian for the inaugural Waiheke wine review. The is an archive wine long since sold out. By the way, 7. Perfect situation… If we get knocked out of the rugby, you can simply move onto more detailed wine reviews; if we are successful, you can focus on wines to celebrate by.

They decide to join forces with Dan Fallsburn, the director of the institution in tracking down the mystery leading them on a dangerous adventure on Peru. To make it worse, a powerful financier, Ian Radford also wants to find the secret and doesn't care how.
If you want a light-hearted adventure story this is it. I like the friendship between Delphi and Conner. But the later dynamics of the group was great.
